About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a design authority for an electrical engineering discipline with medium complexity
- Complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner
- Apply basic and detailed design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects
- Perform basic and detailed engineering activities and provide optimized solutions for electrical systems in industrial projects
- Prepare overall key SLD, auxiliary AC/DC SLD, and protection SLD
- Perform transformer, battery, UPS, DG, VFD, earthing, cable, cable tray, lighting, and lightning calculations
- Prepare datasheets and specifications for industrial electrical equipment
- Develop equipment layouts, sections, earthing layouts, cable routing, cable schedules, termination schedules, bus duct layouts, lighting layouts, lightning layouts, and switchgear fixing arrangement drawings
- Develop schematics for control and protection panels, synchronizing panels, and MV/LV switchgears
- Develop block logic diagrams for MV and LV switchgear
- Prepare engineering schedules aligned with the agreed document deliverable list and project schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience for Engineering candidate
- Should have worked in at least 2-4 large size projects as Project Engineer
- Pre-Bid Engineering, Bid & Proposal exposure is an added advantage
- Proficiency in using design tools like earthing, lighting calculation tools etc.
- Strong technical leadership skills, interpersonal skills, effective communication skills
- Commissioning experience of Electrical Equipment's is preferred
