About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop a team of Project Procurement Specialists
Ensure effective procurement support for tendering and project execution
Define and implement the future project procurement framework for ABB Denmark
Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers and ensure early supplier involvement in tender and sales activities
Collaborate with sales and tender teams to support competitive customer proposals
Build and maintain a project supplier matrix covering strategic suppliers and critical capabilities
Facilitate supplier meetings, relationship-building activities and early-phase business discussions
Develop procurement governance, processes, best practices and stakeholder engagement models
Lead project procurement activities from tender phase through project execution
Manage commercial risks, supplier performance and value-creation opportunities throughout the supply chain
Work with sales teams, project managers, engineering teams, suppliers and the regional Project Procurement HUB

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of five years of experience in project procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain management
Proven experience leading a procurement function
Experience providing functional leadership and coordinating procurement professionals in a project-based environment
Experience establishing or developing project procurement organizations, frameworks or governance models
Experience working closely with sales, tendering and project execution teams
Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic supplier relationships
Knowledge of supplier risk management, commercial negotiations and contract management
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple business functions
Professional communication skills in English, both written and spoken
