About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate product demonstrations and presentations showcasing ABB products and solutions
- Generate product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions and using value-based selling
- Support preparation of sales proposals, review project specifications and advise on product selection to secure new orders
- Provide technical support during technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations
- Perform analytics and diagnostic studies to determine suitable technical solutions for customer needs
- Work with the Manager to develop technical competency in the Local Product Marketing team for the Building Automation portfolio
- Deliver product, solution and service-related training
- Support managers in preparing and validating technical articles for publication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to developing Building Automation solutions
- Support consultants and onboarding of new customers and channel partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-10 years of previous experience in building automation systems, Guest Room Management System and Lighting Control Projects
- Niagara 4 TCP, Niagara 4 Developer Certification, KNX Basic and Advanced certification preferred
- Strong background in programming, testing and commissioning of DDC and PLC-based building automation systems
- Experience in design and estimation, project compliance, IO point calculations, shop drawings and wiring diagrams
- Deep technical understanding of KNX, BACnet, Modbus and OPC protocols
- Basic cloud-based certification and hands-on experience working on Node-RED
- ASHRAE HVAC Level 1 and Level 2 certification advantageous
- Willingness to travel as required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges
- Valid work permit, residency or nationality of Singapore
