About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process.
  • Adapt ABB’s products with customer applications to meet customer requirements/specifications.
  • Select optimized products and technology for adaptation.
  • Prepare relevant documentation.
  • Serve as a key technical resource for the assigned area.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and networking.
  • Offer technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers, channels, and Sales Specialists about ABB products, systems, and applications.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain and organize customer data, update contact details, and log interactions inside the Salesforce CRM.
  • Maintain proactive communication with the sales team and other internal functions, providing relevant information to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical industry strongly preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or related field
  • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Strong oral, written communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Professional fluency in English required.
  • Conversational or proficiency in Spanish a strong plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal development skills desired.
  • Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel 5-10% as needed.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
