About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate strategic decisions from Legal & Integrity and ABB IS into tactical IS objectives aligned with business priorities
- Design, implement, and maintain a framework for delivering IS services within the assigned scope, on time, within budget, and according to customer expectations
- Manage and develop a team of approximately 10 internal employees providing IS services to the Legal & Integrity function
- Plan and manage an annual budget of approximately USD 5 million, monitor spending, and ensure effective resource allocation
- Act as global owner and main point of contact for business stakeholders regarding SaaS, cloud, and in-house application solutions and systems
- Manage multiple global third-party vendor contracts to maintain service quality and optimize costs
- Ensure compliance with corporate IS requirements, ABB regulations, internal and external standards, and ABB IS service-delivery guidelines and directives
- Orchestrate development and maintenance of Legal and Integrity services
- Participate in transforming and optimizing BAU (business as usual)
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 10 years of experience in Information Systems (IS), particularly in application and system lifecycle management, IS Service Delivery, Service Management, and IS Project Management
- At least 3 years of experience managing external vendors within a managed services model
- Experience managing teams of experts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL practices
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification and additional ITIL and/or Lean certifications considered an advantage
- Experience managing senior stakeholders and collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups across different business areas
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate in an international environment
- Fluency in English in a professional environment
- Service-oriented approach
- Well-developed organizational, time management, and decision-making skills
