Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support market-driven growth initiatives across multiple industries
  • Identify and activate marketing opportunities aligned with ABB Electrification’s strategy
  • Position ABB as a trusted technology partner
  • Analyze customer challenges, buying drivers, and decision-making processes to inform market positioning, value propositions, and messaging
  • Translate long-term business strategy into go-to-market and campaign strategies with clear objectives and success metrics
  • Support market intelligence on technology trends, customer needs, and emerging applications
  • Plan, develop, and lead execution of integrated marketing campaigns
  • Partner with segment leaders and product teams to identify new business opportunities and support segment-based marketing initiatives
  • Develop messaging frameworks and content requirements articulating ABB’s value across the industry lifecycle
  • Ensure consistent positioning across digital, events, content, and partner channels
  • Collaborate with segment leaders to represent ABB within key industry organizations at regional and national levels
  • Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, panels, white papers, and industry collaboration with communications
  • Support priority trade events, conferences, and customer forums

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in electrification, power, digital infrastructure, or related industries, with experience in marketing, product management, segment leadership, or sales
  • Ability to organize information and communicate clearly with different audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple functions and influence without direct authority
  • High say/do ratio—sets clear commitments and delivers results with consistency and credibility
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within the U.S.
