About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the warranty process for projects within the Electrification Solutions business
  • Serve as the main customer interface for all warranty claims
  • Own the warranty process from initial claim submission through final resolution
  • Coordinate with internal and external vendors and services according to warranty terms
  • Solve problems and advocate for customers to minimize impact on customer operations
  • Review and validate warranty claims according to contractual terms
  • Prioritize multiple cases and coordinate with vendors, field technicians, and internal teams to minimize customer downtime
  • Manage purchase orders and maintain detailed project records
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards
  • Drive efficient warranty execution and continuous process improvements
  • Collaborate with Quality teams to analyze warranty trends, performance, and costs
  • Provide insights to improve organizational effectiveness and customer satisfaction
  • Report to the Project Operations Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor degree (electrical/energy/mechanical engineering degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, engineering or manufacturing
  • Problem solving skills, including creative issue resolution
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret warranty claims vs coverage
  • Organizational skills with high attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Customer service skills
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
  • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%
