About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive growth and utilization of the CentriMag blood pump system within the region
  • Serve as the regional expert on CentriMag use for Extra-Corporeal Life Support (ECLS) and cannulation
  • Target new centers for CentriMag adoption
  • Build customer relationships and drive product utilization through product education and best-practice sharing
  • Coordinate with Territory Managers to drive utilization and facilitate account relationships
  • Identify and qualify accounts for CentriMag
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers and Business Development Managers throughout the sales process
  • Lead product demonstrations and secure support from key clinical stakeholders
  • Facilitate post-purchase training
  • Attend major ECLS meetings and national society meetings as needed
  • Develop and cultivate key opinion leaders interested in ACS/ECLS
  • Educate sales and clinical colleagues on CentriMag and emerging ECLS and ACS trends
  • Contribute competitive selling arguments, product development suggestions, and sales support materials
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborate closely with Territory Managers and Clinical Consultants

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Clinical experience in areas relevant to acute mechanical circulatory support
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Sales orientation and 3 years of industry experience
  • Experience identifying new business opportunities
  • Experience working in a team selling environment
  • Experience selling successfully in a highly competitive environment
  • Ability to collaborate with sales colleagues to secure a sale
  • Pediatric experience desired
  • Ability to work effectively from a home office base
  • Must provide the majority of own typing, filing, and communications support
  • Maintains a good driving record
  • Awareness of and adherence to AdvaMed guidelines
  • Prefer degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or another medical discipline
  • Certificate in Circulatory Sciences and Perfusion (CCP) desired
  • Preferably 5 or more years of industry experience
  • Ability to protect and act responsibly toward company equipment and confidential information
  • Effective communication and collaboration with territory, clinical, training and education, marketing, technical support, and management teams
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to help others
