Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow and manage strategic relationships within large regional Integrated Delivery Networks
  • Drive retention and expansion of the Abbott Point of Care portfolio
  • Develop and execute account strategies
  • Leverage cross-functional resources and deliver solutions that improve customer outcomes and drive profitable revenue growth
  • Achieve sales goals and maintain the sales budget
  • Establish and build senior-level relationships within assigned accounts
  • Understand customer decision-makers and influencers to drive profitable sales and protect base business
  • Identify innovative strategic solutions for the commercial team
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasting to senior leadership
  • Collaborate across APOC US Commercial functions to achieve commercial goals
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage broader commercial team activities across sales, marketing, finance, and other functions
  • Identify sales opportunities and represent the company and its products
  • Assign roles, expectations, responsibilities, and timelines with the leadership team
  • Act as an internal customer advocate and leverage internal relationships to drive business objectives
  • Handle contract negotiation, pricing, proposal/bid preparation, customer service, and follow-up
  • Assist with strategic sales plans and tactics, including annual territory/regional plans and sales forecasting
  • Monitor market, customer, and competitor trends and advise management on company competitiveness
  • Work with APOC US Marketing to identify opportunities and develop marketing plans and programs
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and communication to sales and marketing management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • 7+ years of sales or related experience, including selling to executive-level decision-makers within healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory, medical device, or Point of Care markets
  • Proven success in strategic account management, value-based solution selling, contract negotiations, and driving revenue growth within complex healthcare organizations
  • Ability to build and influence senior-level relationships
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to navigate complex customer organizations to develop winning solutions
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, critical thinking, leadership, and networking skills
  • Documented track record of sales success
  • Must reside within the assigned territory
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%
  • Preferred: 3+ years of Enterprise Account and IDN sales experience
  • Preferred: MBA
