About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute integrated medical strategies supporting product development, enhancement, commercialization, and growth
- Facilitate regular medical strategy meetings to review strategy status, shape recommendations, and ensure alignment with broader business strategies
- Partner across Medical and cross-functional stakeholders on evidence generation, KOL engagement, advisory board planning and execution, clinical-data translation, sales training, commercialization, and launch efforts
- Coordinate key medical deliverables to drive alignment, collaboration, and cohesive execution
- Assess the evolving product landscape to identify evidentiary gaps, risks, and opportunities for differentiation and improvement
- Plan and facilitate the annual Innovation Session, synthesizing insights into strategic-planning actions
- Maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners so medical perspectives inform business decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- 7+ years of experience in Medical Strategy, Medical Affairs, or a related function within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or academic setting
- Strong clinical, medical, or scientific background in oncology, with experience in breast cancer preferred
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight or weekend travel as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn and effectively use project management, collaboration, and other business technology platforms
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Advanced degree in life sciences, molecular biology, business, or a related discipline preferred
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, leading through influence, and coordinating cross-functional development of medical strategies
