About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute integrated medical strategies supporting product development, enhancement, commercialization, and growth
  • Facilitate regular medical strategy meetings to review strategy status, shape medical recommendations, and ensure alignment with broader business strategies
  • Partner across the Medical organization on evidence-generation strategy and planning, KOL engagement, advisory board planning and execution, clinical-data translation into medical messaging, and commercialization and launch support
  • Coordinate key medical deliverables to drive alignment, collaboration, and cohesive execution
  • Assess the evolving product landscape to identify evidentiary gaps, risks, and opportunities for differentiation and improvement
  • Plan and facilitate the annual Innovation Session, synthesizing insights into outputs and actions for strategic planning
  • Maintain collaborative cross-functional relationships and ensure medical perspectives inform business decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in Medical Strategy, Medical Affairs, or a related function within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or academic setting
  • Strong clinical, medical, or scientific background in oncology; experience in breast cancer preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight or weekend travel as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn and effectively use project management, collaboration, and other business technology platforms
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, molecular biology, business, or a related discipline preferred
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment, leading through influence, and coordinating cross-functional development of medical strategies
