About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide tactical and administrative management for strategic planning, development, and control of district activities
- Ensure sales and market-share increases across the district
- Manage the Similac® and PediaSure® brands in pediatric hospital and office settings
- Manage roughly 10 sales representatives across Colorado, Utah, and Montana
- Develop territory managers’ skills through strategizing, coaching, training, and inspiring
- Work in the field with representatives approximately 10 times per representative annually
- Complete field-visit documentation, including TM evaluations and follow-up emails
- Evaluate performance and provide performance-improvement coaching
- Write performance appraisals
- Recruit and select candidates through sourcing, interviewing, job fairs, and maintaining a qualified candidate pool
- Conduct SWOT analysis, manage hospital contracts, plan representative routing, allocate resources, and manage budgets
- Communicate issues and opportunities to the Regional Director
- Conduct meetings and training sessions
- Manage district financial and marketing resources
- Maintain accountability for district sales representatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 2–3 years of sales leadership experience; 5+ years preferred
- Hospital sales experience is a plus
- B-to-B business sales is a plus
- Management experience building and coaching a team
- Understanding of geography and business landscape
- Mastery of technical product sales
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt personal style to meet the needs of others
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Demonstrated strength in training
- Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, decision making, teamwork, initiative, and driving the business
- Ability to understand and implement field sales directives and management policies
- Ability to travel, mandatory for sales meetings and district field travel
- Individual to reside in the Denver, CO area preferably, or Salt Lake City, UT
