About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and support territory sales goals by selling Abbott Pediatric Nutrition products
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines and deliver information in a selling environment
- Support new product launches and promotional initiatives
- Build and strengthen relationships with Dietitians, Physicians, Nurses, Hospital Leaders, and Office Staff
- Manage a large territory using effective administrative and organizational skills
- Manage territory budgets and resources responsibly
- Work independently with initiative, autonomy, and accountability
- Achieve short-term and long-term business objectives
- Partner with healthcare professionals throughout North Texas to support infant and pediatric nutrition
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience selling within a medical setting and calling on healthcare professionals preferred
- Hospital, pediatric, OB/GYN, neonatal, maternal-child health, or healthcare sales experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with or selling to Pediatricians, Neonatologists, Dietitians, Nurses, OB/GYN offices, birthing hospitals, NICUs, and integrated health systems highly preferred
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence clinical and business decisionmakers
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
- Local candidates only; no relocation assistance available
- Willingness to travel approximately 30–50% throughout the North Texas territory
