About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and support territory sales goals by selling Abbott Pediatric Nutrition products
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines and deliver information in a selling environment
  • Support new product launches and promotional initiatives
  • Build and strengthen relationships with Dietitians, Physicians, Nurses, Hospital Leaders, and Office Staff
  • Manage a large territory using effective administrative and organizational skills
  • Manage territory budgets and resources responsibly
  • Function independently while achieving short-term and long-term business objectives
  • Travel approximately 30–50% throughout the North Texas territory
  • Support infant and pediatric nutrition through healthcare-professional partnerships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience selling within a medical setting and calling on healthcare professionals preferred
  • Hospital, pediatric, OB/GYN, neonatal, maternal-child health, or healthcare sales experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with or selling to Pediatricians, Neonatologists, Dietitians, Nurses, OB/GYN offices, birthing hospitals, NICUs, and integrated health systems highly preferred
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence clinical and business decisionmakers
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to function independently with initiative, autonomy, and accountability
  • Candidates with relevant pediatric, neonatal, OB/GYN, labor and delivery, NICU, newborn nursery, and maternal-child health sales experience encouraged to apply
  • Local candidates only; no relocation assistance available
