About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on order-to-cash handling tasks and internal processes
  • Perform Revenue Cycle processes, handle EMR work queues, and troubleshoot patient claims, charges, and appeals
  • Support workflow management and team resource allocation with leadership
  • Attend and co-facilitate meetings with internal departments
  • Use Microsoft Office and EMR reporting tools to support team initiatives and leadership requests
  • Participate in cross-department project initiatives
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and workflows while documenting information
  • Support work queue turnaround time requirements and process improvement initiatives
  • Complete Epic trainings for TOQ and PFS work queues
  • Uphold company mission, values, Quality Management System policies, and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 2+ years of experience in a contact center, data entry, or customer service environment
  • 2+ years of experience in multiple computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Epic, and Onbase
  • 1+ years of experience working in a medical data entry environment utilizing EMR systems
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems related to overall workflow processes
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA Laws
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance terms
  • Working knowledge of laboratory terminology
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat; demonstrated ability to navigate multiple systems within order workflow and manipulate files into PDF
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Experience with project-based work (preferred)
  • Peer mentorship experience (preferred)
  • Experience supporting multiple work streams concurrently (preferred)
  • Process documentation experience with Microsoft Visio or similar programs (preferred)
