About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advanced engineering, sales, educational, and technical support for complex EP product inquiries
- Serve as a senior clinical interface between the medical community and the business
- Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers
- Identify and report customer needs, product performance, and sales opportunities
- Provide complex field inquiries support and maintain thorough knowledge of EP products, technologies, trends, and competitors
- Develop, lead, and facilitate trainings and programs on EP products for healthcare professionals
- Provide market insight and feedback for next-generation products
- Provide regional EP procedural case coverage
- Back up EP Sales Representatives with sales support, regional training, clinical studies/data collection, troubleshooting, and new-product in-service training
- Mentor and provide leadership for less experienced Clinical Specialists
- Develop engineering, sales, and technical skills related to Arrhythmia Management
- Assist Training and Education with advanced seminars and educational materials
- Assist Sales with advanced product demonstrations
- Remain current on expertise areas, regulatory requirements, company and competitor products, markets, objectives, and industry trends
- Resolve problems and facilitate prevention of recurrence
- Perform related assigned responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 1 year in previous position
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (internal or external)
- Prior industry/competitive experience (if external)
- Solely dedicated to EP support
- IBHRE EP certified
- Considered top performer amongst peers
- Ability to perform complex cases in EP solo
- Ability to mentor and train EP CS roles and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases
- Ability to conduct complex customer education events solo to sell the value proposition of the full EP portfolio
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time
