About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead planning and execution of complex EHR and system integration projects
- Manage project scope, schedule, requirements, issues, and risks
- Share project management best practices and identify process improvements
- Present integration progress, performance, and KPI reports to stakeholders
- Translate technical concepts for cross-functional audiences
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives
- Evaluate emerging technologies, integration tools, and industry best practices
- Develop strategies and solutions for EHR interoperability and data exchange
- Provide advanced technical guidance on integration standards and practices
- Conceptualize, document, and present integration solutions to senior management
- Support the company Quality Management System
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Travel between Exact Science locations and spend approximately 10% of working time traveling
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree
- 5–7 years of experience in EHR integration, healthcare IT management, or IT project management
- Possession and maintenance of Epic Bridges certification throughout employment
- Expert knowledge of point-to-point and API integration solutions
- Expert knowledge of EHR systems such as Epic and Cerner
- Expert knowledge of integration standards such as HL7 and FHIR
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to influence and persuade relevant audiences
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Competence with HIPAA and HITECH healthcare regulations
- Proficient computer skills, including internet navigation and email usage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- PMI Project Management Certification preferred
