About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives.
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential with the Regional Director.
- Establish and achieve annual sales objectives in the assigned territory.
- Coordinate activities with clinical consultants and negotiate contracts with external customers.
- Monitor and report market dynamics and competitive activity.
- Sell Amplatzer Congenital products for ASD, PDA, VSD, and PFO applications.
- Schedule sales calls with current and potential customers to meet revenue and unit growth objectives.
- Develop and implement account sales strategies based on product, competition, and pricing needs.
- Analyze sales figures and develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly action plans.
- Identify key accounts, healthcare professionals, and business issues affecting product use.
- Observe procedures in hospital labs and operating rooms to understand physician and lab staff needs.
- Establish customer-specific pricing packages within company guidelines.
- Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify purchasing decision makers.
- Provide customer training, VIP trips, orientations, launches, and updates.
- Attend trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
- Educate customers through presentations and demonstrations to secure purchasing commitments.
- Maintain clinical and technical expertise through company product training.
- Assess managed care trends, competitor strategies, and new product development.
- Prepare and submit reports to sales management using data, projections, and relevant information.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA or equivalent experience.
- 7 years cardiovascular experience, 5 of which are SH, EP or AV specific sales experience.
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales, procedural support, interventional cardiology tools, and cardiac echo interpretation.
- Strong preference for candidates with Structural Heart sales experience.
- Relevant experience in other percutaneous specialties such as Electrophysiology, Endovascular, Coronary, or Radiology will also be considered.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Ability to perform significant work activities including prolonged sitting and standing and driving a personal auto or company vehicle.
