About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement HEOR strategy and tactics for multiple indications or products across US, international, or global contexts
- Serve as an HEOR subject-matter expert on cross-functional pipeline commercialization and brand planning teams
- Align Global HEOR strategies and plans with broader Integrated Evidence Plans
- Lead and conduct timely, robust, and innovative research aligned to strategy
- Collaborate with HEOR centers of excellence, including PCOR and RWE
- Inform clinical-trial COA measurement strategy using outcomes research and payer/HTA expertise
- Interface with external global regulators, such as FDA and EMA, to support labeling negotiations
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and country affiliates on global HTA submissions
- Develop relationships with external clinical, payer, and patient-advocacy thought leaders
- Partner on study protocol development, interpretation of findings, and publication of findings
- Allocate project or asset-specific budgets and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Ensure HEOR studies comply with established research standards
- Disseminate HEOR evidence to payers, providers, patients, and policymakers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced degree in health economics or related discipline
- Minimum of five years of working experience with a Master’s degree, or three years with a PhD; fellowship experience may be included
- Professional training in a health field such as MD or PharmD is a plus
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in health economics and outcomes research
- Expertise in one or more core HEOR specialties: epidemiology, biostatistics, patient-reported outcomes, health services research, or economics
- Ability to perform health economics projects from inception through publication and application with minimal oversight
- Ability to present complex scientific programs and data clearly to cross-functional audiences
- Ability to influence activities in a matrix organization
- Knowledge of payer/HTA environments and global regulatory interfaces
- Must comply with established research standards and applicable policies
