About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with infrastructure, technology, security, and acquisition target teams to coordinate core security and technology services during acquisitions or divestitures
  • Develop, document, and deploy secure design patterns for collaborations with strategic alliance partners
  • Develop new security playbooks and services focused on business alliances and strategic acquisitions
  • Act as a single point of contact between security and technical and business teams
  • Coordinate design and advisory responsibilities across information security teams for acquisitions and research ventures
  • Interact with internal research, business intelligence, technical, and information security teams to develop and deliver security products and services
  • Shape the services delivered by the mergers and acquisitions security program
  • Ensure in-flight acquisitions receive appropriate security services at the appropriate times
  • Operate within the security architecture team with a dotted-line relationship to the cybersecurity threat intelligence team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of experience OR Master's Degree and 6 years of experience OR PhD and 2 years of experience
  • Practical experience in a relevant discipline of security architecture, including Cloud Security, AppSec, Network Security, Identity, or Operational Technology
  • Experience designing and successfully implementing practical security solutions
  • Direct experience designing or providing solutions related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and/or multi-company collaborations
  • Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, and associated security solutions
  • Working knowledge of M365 and Slack
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and related security constructs, including domains, forests, and trusts
  • Understanding of industry security standards such as NIST 800 and ISO 27001
  • Experience in an information security role, preferably as a Security Architect or Security Engineer
  • Experience with varied security tooling and capabilities, preferably including hands-on/operational exposure
  • GCFE, GCFA, GDSA, GCTI, GCIA, GCDA, or GEIR certifications strongly preferred
  • Related technical/industry certifications, such as SANS or AWS certifications
  • Ability to work in the United States
