About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Train Business Development Managers, Strategic Account Managers, and Practice Development Managers
  • Support qualitative dollar sales, profitability, and market share for Allergan Aesthetics
  • Deliver advanced product messaging and business-development training
  • Monitor skill progression from entry-level to senior sales roles
  • Enhance sales representatives’ ability to communicate advanced scientific information, business-development practices, and portfolio messaging
  • Execute sales directives and training programs across assigned Area geographies
  • Support new-hire onboarding and development needs
  • Facilitate Field Sales Training initiatives
  • Contribute to the national training plan as part of the marketing planning process
  • Coordinate training and development for newly hired sales managers
  • Monitor and enhance new-hire progress through the training continuum
  • Provide coaching and development feedback
  • Facilitate pre- and post-training onboarding sales calls
  • Attend at least one of each new-hire sales training course annually
  • Conduct field co-travels with new hires and tenured field sales representatives
  • Identify and address learning gaps
  • Provide written follow-up after each co-travel and schedule follow-up calls with managers
  • Collaborate with Area Sales Leaders, Regional Sales Leaders, and Regional Practice Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of the health care and/or pharmaceutical industry
  • 3+ years of field sales experience in the device industry; surgical experience strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of sales training experience preferred, but not required
  • 2+ years of project management experience preferred, with health care experience preferred but not required
  • Strong technical expertise and business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Ability to form, lead, and facilitate integrated teams and individuals
  • Flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
  • Proven ability to deliver group presentations at district, regional, and national meetings and to major customers
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, planning, and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Ability to develop and execute key strategies
  • Strong problem-resolution skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint
  • Ability to drive a car with a valid driver’s license
