About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess, plan, and execute AbbVie programs supporting treatment delivery for infused therapies in Gastroenterology
Prospect and establish business-to-business relationships with local sites of care and specialty pharmacies
Develop and execute account and partner business plans
Maximize site-of-care opportunities in accordance with product labeling, strategic imperatives, and company policies
Execute defined management-by-objective goals
Provide therapy and clinical-procedure overviews to assigned site-of-care customers and coordinate with Medical Affairs
Identify gaps in site-of-care networks and develop expansion plans
Pull through national partnership contracts at the local level
Develop business cases for contracts and manage execution for optimal results
Provide ongoing access-related education, including coding and billing
Conduct quarterly business reviews with site-of-care administrative leaders
Serve as lead point of contact with sales, patient services, and reimbursement access functions
Evaluate, develop, monitor, and measure partnerships and business plans against profit, growth, and value objectives
Develop and grow account relationships through a collaborative approach
Develop and deliver business presentations and reviews to customers and partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 4 years of pharma/medical industry experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with market access/site of care customer segments and reimbursement, including commercial and government payers and billing/coding, with infused products
Direct experience identifying and activating sites of care in infusion service areas, including national/regional infusion service provider sites and individual buy-and-bill physician office practices
Ability to work independently and make decisions, recognizing when supervisory input is essential
Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments
Demonstrated integrity on the job
Strong attention to detail
Excellent planning and organizational skills for date-sensitive deadlines
Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly dynamic environment with a high sense of urgency
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel 70–75%
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
