  • Create pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations

  • Develop and execute call plans optimizing customer coverage and sales opportunities
  • Analyze customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical information, and sales data

  • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
  • Relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least five (5) years of experience, with three (3) or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred
  • High school diploma/GED required when using the experience alternative
  • In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge
  • Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools
  • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities
  • Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment
  • Ability to identify customer behavior and adapt selling approaches
  • Documented success in leadership and support roles of increased responsibility
  • English language proficiency verbally and in writing
  • Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain them
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
