About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Transform the journey of patients with migraine through the launch of Aquipta, the development of the preventive treatment concept, and the integrated management of AbbVie’s portfolio, including Aquipta and Botox
  • Strategically manage the territory and priority accounts
  • Promote Aquipta and therapeutic Botox to neurologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Clearly, ethically, and relevantly communicate scientific evidence, clinical benefits, and brand positioning
  • Conduct consultative interactions using the Challenger model
  • Identify opportunities to increase disease awareness, diagnosis, prevention, and access to treatment
  • Develop and execute Territory Planning, defining priorities, objectives, action plans, investments, and performance indicators
  • Plan visits based on segmentation, potential, frequency, sequencing, and objectives
  • Analyze audits, market reports, demand, and KPIs
  • Map priority accounts, centers of excellence, care pathways, and the patient journey
  • Identify stakeholders, influencers, decision-makers, barriers, and opportunities within each account
  • Operate at priority points of sale, ensuring product availability and execution of commercial and promotional strategies
  • Build long-term relationships and co-create solutions in accordance with company policies
  • Work with Market Access on opportunities in the private and public sectors
  • Translate Marketing strategies into priorities and action plans
  • Record visits and interactions in Veeva
  • Monitor KPIs and discuss action plans with the District Manager
  • Participate in congresses, scientific events, and promotional initiatives
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Commercial Excellence, and other functions
  • Comply with the Code of Conduct, commercial policies, promotional standards, and applicable legislation
  • Report adverse events to Pharmacovigilance within 24 hours

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree completed, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, healthcare-related fields, or a related discipline
  • Experience in medical promotion, demand generation, consultative sales, or commercial management in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to learn and communicate scientific content clearly and confidently
  • Familiarity with territory planning, performance analysis, and CRM tools
  • Willingness to travel and commute as required by the territory’s coverage area
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Availability to travel
  • Preferred: experience in neurology, migraine, pain, botulinum toxin, or specialty markets
  • Preferred: experience with product launches, market development, or changes in treatment paradigms
  • Preferred: experience managing accounts, centers of excellence, and private-sector markets
  • English proficiency is a plus
