About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Transform the journey of patients with migraine through the launch of Qulipta (atogepant), the development of the preventive treatment concept, and the integrated promotion of AbbVie’s portfolio, including Qulipta and Botox
- Strategically manage the territory and priority accounts
- Promote Qulipta and therapeutic Botox among the medical community and key stakeholders in the migraine ecosystem
- Communicate scientific evidence, clinical benefits, and brand positioning
- Conduct consultative interactions using the Challenger model
- Identify opportunities to increase disease awareness, diagnosis, prevention, and access to treatment
- Develop and execute Territory Planning, defining priorities, objectives, action plans, investments, and performance indicators
- Plan visits based on segmentation, potential, frequency, sequencing, and objectives
- Analyze audits, market reports, demand, and KPIs
- Map priority accounts, centers of excellence, care pathways, and the patient journey
- Identify stakeholders, influencers, decision-makers, barriers, and opportunities
- Operate at priority points of sale, ensuring product availability and execution of commercial and promotional strategies
- Develop long-term relationships with customers and co-create solutions in accordance with company policies
- Partner with Market Access on opportunities in the private and public sectors
- Translate Marketing strategies into priorities, objectives, and action plans
- Record visits and interactions in Veeva
- Ensure completion of segmentation research, opt-in processes, mandatory training, and other required processes
- Monitor KPIs and discuss analyses and action plans with the District Manager
- Participate in congresses, scientific events, and promotional initiatives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Excellence, and other functions
- Report adverse events to Pharmacovigilance within 24 hours
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, a health-related field, or a related discipline
- Experience in medical promotion, demand generation, consultative selling, or commercial management within the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to learn and communicate scientific content clearly and confidently
- Familiarity with territory planning, performance analysis, and CRM tools
- Willingness to travel and commute as required by the territory’s coverage area
- Valid driver’s license
- Availability to travel
- Experience in neurology, migraine, pain, botulinum toxin, or specialty markets
- Experience with product launches, market development, or changes in therapeutic concepts
- Experience managing accounts, centers of excellence, and private-sector markets
- English proficiency
