About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Transform the journey of patients with migraine through the launch of Aquipta, the development of the preventive treatment concept, and the integrated promotion of AbbVie’s portfolio, including Aquipta and Botox
- Promote Aquipta and Botox to neurologists and other healthcare professionals by communicating scientific evidence, clinical benefits, and brand positioning
- Conduct consultative interactions using the Challenger model
- Identify opportunities to increase disease awareness, diagnosis, prevention, and access to appropriate treatment
- Develop and execute Territory Planning, establishing priorities, objectives, action plans, investments, and performance indicators
- Plan visits based on defined segmentation, potential, frequency, sequence, and objectives
- Analyze audits, market reports, demand, and KPIs to identify opportunities and maximize territory performance
- Map priority accounts, centers of excellence, care pathways, and the patient journey for people with migraine
- Identify stakeholders, influencers, decision-makers, barriers, and opportunities within each account
- Operate at priority points of sale, ensuring product availability and execution of commercial and promotional strategies
- Develop long-term relationships with customers and co-create solutions in accordance with company policies
- Work with Market Access to identify and develop opportunities in the private and public healthcare markets
- Translate Marketing strategies into priorities, objectives, and action plans
- Record visits and interactions in Veeva
- Monitor execution and outcome KPIs and discuss action plans with the District Manager
- Participate in congresses, scientific events, and promotional initiatives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Commercial Excellence, and other functions
- Conduct activities in compliance with the Code of Conduct, commercial policies, promotional standards, and applicable legislation
- Report adverse events to Pharmacovigilance within 24 hours
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, or related fields
- Experience in medical promotion, demand generation, consultative sales, or commercial management within the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to learn and communicate scientific content clearly and confidently
- Familiarity with territory planning, performance indicator analysis, and CRM tools
- Availability to travel and commute as required by the territory’s coverage area
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel
- Preferred: experience in neurology, migraine, pain, botulinum toxin, or specialty markets
- Preferred: experience with product launches, market development, or changes in therapeutic concepts
- Preferred: experience managing accounts, centers of excellence, and the private healthcare market
- Preferred: English proficiency
