About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Transform the journey of patients with migraine through the launch of Aquipta, the development of the preventive treatment concept, and the integrated promotion of AbbVie’s portfolio, including Aquipta and Botox.
- Strategically manage the territory and priority accounts.
- Promote Aquipta and therapeutic Botox to neurologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate scientific evidence, clinical benefits, and brand positioning.
- Conduct consultative interactions using the Challenger model.
- Identify opportunities to increase disease awareness, diagnosis, prevention, and access to treatment.
- Develop and execute Territory Planning, defining priorities, objectives, action plans, investments, and metrics.
- Plan visits based on segmentation, potential, frequency, sequencing, and objectives.
- Analyze audits, market reports, demand, and KPIs to adjust strategy and maximize territory performance.
- Map priority accounts, centers of excellence, care pathways, and the patient journey for people with migraine.
- Identify stakeholders, influencers, decision-makers, barriers, and opportunities within each account.
- Engage with priority points of sale, ensuring product availability and execution of commercial and promotional strategies.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers and co-create solutions in accordance with company policies.
- Work with Market Access to identify and develop opportunities in the private and public healthcare markets.
- Translate Marketing strategies into priorities, objectives, and action plans.
- Record visits and interactions in Veeva.
- Complete segmentation surveys, opt-in collection, mandatory training, and other company processes.
- Monitor KPIs and discuss analyses and action plans with the District Manager.
- Participate in congresses, scientific events, and promotional initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Commercial Excellence, and other departments.
- Conduct activities in compliance with the Code of Conduct, commercial policies, promotional standards, and applicable legislation.
- Report adverse events to Pharmacovigilance within 24 hours.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in medical promotion, demand generation, consultative selling, or commercial management within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to learn and communicate scientific content clearly and confidently.
- Familiarity with territory planning, performance indicator analysis, and CRM tools.
- Availability to travel and commute according to the territory’s scope.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Based in the Federal District (DF), Salvador (BA), or Recife (PE), with availability to travel to the Federal District (DF), Salvador (BA), and Recife (PE).
- Preferred: experience in neurology, migraine, pain, botulinum toxin, or specialty markets.
- Preferred: experience with product launches, market development, or changing therapeutic paradigms.
- Preferred: experience managing accounts, centers of excellence, and private markets.
- English proficiency.
