About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and deliver compliant learning solutions for a field sales organization
  • Represent Training & Development and Brand Strategy in training programs and solutions
  • Build relationships with stakeholders at various levels
  • Provide performance coaching, candid feedback, and plans for improved performance
  • Coach National Field Trainers across the organization
  • Adjust coaching and training techniques to individual participant skill levels
  • Develop Guest Trainers and Rotational Trainers through meaningful class roles and one-to-one coaching
  • Integrate training activities into brand team business plans
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and special projects
  • Serve as a product, disease-state, customer, and business-skills expert
  • Assist with onboarding, development, and mentorship of National Field Trainers
  • Execute with little guidance from senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry as an Account Executive or District Manager, or 2+ years of sales training experience
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products, including CFR 210/211 and cGMP
  • Prior experience leading projects with regional or national impact
  • High-performing sales track record
  • Strong understanding of what drives success in a commercial organization
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
