About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive product and platform development from concept to delivery
Define project scope based on requirements
Perform full-stack development
Conduct user testing
Manage launch cycles
Partner with operations, clinical, compliance, product, and other cross-functional teams
Articulate technical initiatives supporting Abby Care’s mission
Develop technical expertise in product development, cloud infrastructure, machine learning, or data security
Build greenfield systems using AI advancements
Uphold healthcare industry standards
Help shape product direction and roadmap
Report to the VP, Head of Engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Experience with web and API development
Experience with TypeScript and Python
Experience with cloud architectures and platforms such as AWS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
Experience with product development is preferred
Experience in the healthcare industry and at startups is preferred
Ability to work hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area or willingness to relocate
Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check, satisfactory references, and any required documentation
