About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the full product and platform development lifecycle from concept to delivery
Define project scope based on requirements
Perform mobile and full-stack development
Conduct user testing
Manage launch cycles
Partner with operations, clinical, compliance, product, and other cross-functional teams
Articulate technical initiatives supporting the company mission
Develop technical expertise across product development, cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and data security
Build greenfield systems using AI advancements
Uphold healthcare industry standards
Help shape product direction and roadmap as a key early engineer

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software development experience
Proven track record of building, scaling, and maintaining complex applications
Expert knowledge of React Native
Strong engineering foundation
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
Experience leveraging AI tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude is strongly preferred
Familiarity with backend development, particularly Python, and/or modern web frameworks is strongly preferred
Familiarity with Android environment and native Android development is strongly preferred
Experience in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership is strongly preferred
Experience in the healthtech industry or deep personal motivation to build high-stakes healthcare software is strongly preferred
Willingness and ability to work hybrid in San Francisco
Work authorization/sponsorship eligibility for the United States as addressed in the application form
