About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the long-term vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for Billing & Collections
- Make trade-offs across customer value, revenue, risk, and engineering complexity
- Build customer and market understanding through operator feedback, competitive insight, and product data
- Identify high-impact problems and opportunities
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Customer Success, and GTM
- Shape and launch reliable billing experiences
- Drive improvements across subscriptions, recurring payments, invoicing, dunning, notifications, payment recovery, automation, and AI applications
- Define product metrics and use experimentation and analytics to guide decisions
- Measure payment success, involuntary churn, recovery, adoption, and cost-efficiency impact
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of product management experience
- Track record of owning complex products from strategy through launch
- Experience in payments, billing, fintech, SaaS subscriptions, commerce, or a closely related domain
- Strong customer empathy, business judgment, and analytical skills
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear product bets and measurable outcomes
- Cross-functional leadership across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent written communication and ability to influence executives, engineers, and customer-facing teams
- Hands-on experience with subscription billing, dunning or payment recovery, payment routing, risk/fraud, API-based platforms, or data/AI-powered product capabilities is especially valuable
