About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the full onboarding process for new team members serving the intellectual and developmentally disabled community
  • Assist candidates with completing and verifying new-hire paperwork to meet internal, Medicaid, and regulatory standards
  • Process and review background checks for compliance
  • Manage onboarding documentation and maintain electronic records in OnTarget
  • Schedule and coordinate required AIM, CPR/FA, and Core Competency training
  • Liaise between new hires and internal departments to provide a seamless onboarding experience
  • Track and update candidate pipelines using applicant and hiring systems
  • Provide weekly onboarding and hiring metrics reports to management
  • Report to the Director of Staffing & Workforce Development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with candidates, team members, and leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable multitasking and adapting to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with state and federal hiring practices and labor laws
  • Passion for service and alignment with Abound Health’s mission and core values
  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of human resources or onboarding experience
