About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute the Digital Bancassurance strategy and business plan
Own end-to-end P&L accountability for Digital Distribution within Bancassurance
Drive insurance sales, acquisition, cross-sell, upsell, conversion, and servicing through digital channels
Act as Tribe Lead and mobilize multidisciplinary teams across Bancassurance, Digital, Product, Technology, Data, Customer Experience, Operations, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance
Build and scale simple, relevant, and commercially valuable digital insurance propositions
Lead end-to-end digital insurance journeys from discovery through claims and renewal
Manage product and proposition development with Bancassurance teams and insurance partners
Use customer and behavioral data for segmentation, propensity modelling, personalization, funnel analytics, experimentation, and performance management
Own Digital Bancassurance customer experience and reduce friction and abandonment
Develop digitally enabled insurance partnerships and API-enabled ecosystem opportunities
Ensure customer disclosures, consent, product governance, data privacy, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, financial crime controls, operational resilience, technology risk management, regulatory compliance, and customer conduct
Measure commercial performance, customer adoption, revenue, profitability, premium growth, fee and commission income, and return on digital investment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
Typically, 10+ years of relevant senior experience spanning Bancassurance or insurance, digital financial services, digital sales/distribution, P&L management, product management, customer experience, digital transformation, agile/product/tribe leadership, or commercial partnerships
Demonstrable experience building or scaling a digital distribution business with measurable revenue and customer outcomes
MBA or equivalent postgraduate business qualification advantageous
Relevant professional qualifications in insurance, banking, digital product management or agile delivery advantageous
