About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contact service users following referral to promote the NHS diabetes prevention programme and carry out initial assessments
- Provide ongoing support via inbound and outbound calls
- Help service users stay engaged and achieve the best possible outcomes
- Coordinate and manage programme bookings, appointments, waiting lists and service user records
- Guide GP-referred patients throughout their programme pathway
- Provide telephone support to patients participating in the NHS diabetes prevention programme
Requirements
What you’ll need- Customer service experience with confidence speaking on the phone
- Strong organisation and admin skills
- A caring, empathetic approach and passion for helping others
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other digital systems
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with two late shifts per week and one Saturday shift per month
