About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support adoption of ACCA’s global procurement policies, frameworks, and procurement centre of excellence
  • Drive value, innovation, and improvement from supplier relationships and contracts worth approximately £120m annually
  • Support identification and awareness of top supplier risks
  • Work with Business Contract Owners and Subject Matter Experts to ensure quality reviews, compliance, risk understanding, and mitigating actions
  • Coordinate the annual benchmark of the supplier management programme through a competencies-based survey
  • Support ongoing actions recommended in the final benchmark report
  • Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly supplier management reporting dashboards and governance
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement and procurement oversight against procurement key controls
  • Act as escalation point for Business Contract Owners regarding coaching, failing or problem relationships, and training requirements
  • Support evaluation and improvement of environmental, social, and governance practices across top suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Studying towards MCIPS or equivalent
  • Experience working in a supplier management, sourcing, or ESG procurement role
  • Ability to build good working relationships, challenge and support, negotiate, and influence across the organisation and suppliers
  • Ability to innovate and generate ideas for continuous improvement
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills
  • Power Automate and Power BI proficiency is essential
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, fast-changing, and high-pressure environment
  • Extremely well organized, analytical, and resilient to pressure
