About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and appointment setting
  • Conduct Sales development best practices with email, phone, and social drips using sales automation software to build cadences to connect with new prospects
  • Qualify prospects and set appointments for Discovery calls
  • Conduct outreach to target prospects in support of Sales and Marketing campaign initiatives
  • Secure key customer information to identify qualified “Sales ready” leads and prospective customers to be nurtured for future opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and implement effective lead-generation strategies
  • Research new contacts in customer and prospect accounts and add them to SalesForce
  • Research potential clients' needs and pain points
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for Field Sales to further the Sales process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
  • Assist in preparing Sales materials and presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to achieve and set goals and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn
  • Basic understanding of Sales principles and customer service practices
  • Ability to travel 10-15%
  • Familiarity with CRM software (desired)
  • Familiarity with Outreach, LinkedIn, Demand Base and Marketo (desired)
