About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build the financial-services market across Europe, focusing on DACH, the UK, Benelux, France, Italy and the Nordics
  • Identify financial institutions and decision-makers relevant to the company’s AI solutions for marketing, sales and customer service
  • Use an existing network, the fintech scene and industry events to create initial conversations
  • Prepare meetings by researching stakeholders, institutional priorities, and IT, procurement and data-protection hurdles
  • Accompany sales conversations with the founders and specialist team from first meeting through proof of concept to signature
  • Attend conferences, client meetings and industry events across European financial hubs
  • Maintain contacts, deal status and market insights in Pipedrive
  • Pursue relevant opportunities outside financial services when identified through the network

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–6 years of experience working with banks, card issuers or insurers in Europe
  • Experience at a software or data vendor selling into financial services, a fintech, payment scheme or processor, or in financial services consulting
  • Experience across several European markets
  • Active network in the European banking and fintech scene
  • Understanding of how financial institutions make decisions and buy, including business units, IT, procurement, compliance and data protection
  • Ability to identify client problems in marketing, sales or service that the company can solve
  • Understanding of data, AI and regulation, including GDPR and the EU AI Act
  • Initiative and willingness to travel
  • Fluent English and German (C1/C2)
  • Enthusiasm for spending two days a week with the team in the office
  • Contacts in the UK, France, Benelux, Italy or the Nordics
  • Experience selling or delivering marketing, CRM, analytics or customer data software to financial institutions
  • Experience with tenders, vendor onboarding and security reviews
