About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the first point of contact for patients arriving at the branch
- Answer inbound calls, provide clear information, and resolve common questions or concerns
- Partner with the branch team to identify solutions and coordinate timely equipment delivery
- Work with the sales team, referral sources, and patients to collect documentation, secure health plan authorizations, and ensure compliance with insurance guidelines
- Review patient accounts to maximize health plan benefits and accelerate access to equipment and care
- Follow up with patients to confirm satisfaction and address outstanding needs
- Test equipment functionality as needed to ensure quality and readiness
- Support additional branch responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one-year of related work experience
- English reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Willingness to learn

- Strong customer service and bedside manner
- Intermediate computer skills
- Time management
- Effective communication in person, on the phone, and electronically
- At least two years’ experience in an office environment, healthcare setting or call center
- Experience utilizing multi-line phone-system.
- Ability to perform frequent hand use for writing, typing, handling documents, and operating computers, phones, and handheld devices
- Ability to read documents clearly and write neatly and accurately while engaging in constant talking and hearing
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, kneel, stoop, and crouch
- Ability to occasionally stand, lift, push, or pull items weighing between 10 and 40 pounds
