About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide excellent customer service and product information, solutions and relevant details to patients and providers
- Support branches across a designated market
- Review new and recurring patient accounts to obtain documentation required to bill individual health insurance plans
- Research and secure required customer information to continue equipment coverage through health insurance plans
- Manage collaborative relationships with field leadership, referrals and patients through effective outreach to drive account resolution
- Evaluate documentation for compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Perform follow-up to achieve timely reimbursement
- Support Field teams, Operations and Sales with timely feedback
- Identify complaint trends and partner cross-functionally on preventative measures
- Support development and implementation of employee programs
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience in healthcare/health insurance industry
- Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Word
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Intermediate level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data
- Ability to physically reside and work within the United States
- Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
