About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative support to the Marketing & Communications Department
- Support internal and external communications and administrative duties
- Coordinate promotional items, Access wear, print materials, digital store items, and vendor implementation
- Coordinate logo requests and sponsorship materials, including branded jerseys and community signage
- Monitor promotional budgets and track invoices
- Coordinate in-branch collateral deployment and serve as branch contact for branded printed materials
- Develop working relationships with printing, signage, and promotional vendors
- Coordinate community advertising and sponsorship advertisements
- Manage external collateral flights
- Assist with media purchases, advertising agreement negotiations, cost analysis, and growth recommendations
- Identify opportunities to increase members’ understanding through marketing and communications programs
- Attend credit union-sponsored events as a representative and volunteer
- Participate in meetings, planning, and training initiatives
- Adhere to policies and procedures regarding risk management, confidentiality, security, and fraud prevention
- Maintain knowledge of the credit union’s history, vision, objectives, and community role
- Perform other assigned tasks and responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education and/or practical experience in marketing, graphic design, creative communications
- Financial Services experience is beneficial
- Knowledge of Financial Services products and services
- Moderate understanding and working knowledge of brand building and brand management
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and perform well under pressure
- Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions
- Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
- Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures
- Willingness/availability to attend credit union-sponsored events, including evenings and weekends
