About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Communicate with hospital clinical staff and Access TeleCare physicians to ensure timely and efficient patient care
- Answer incoming calls to the consult center and accurately record patient information
- Communicate with clinical specialists to coordinate timely and satisfactory results
- Coordinate paperwork
- Ensure images are uploaded from client hospitals to VidiStar
- Set up video conferencing exam units and test connections
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from employees, clients, and clinical specialists courteously and respectfully
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to hospitals and company physicians
- Facilitate and confirm timely handoff to Tier 2 IT support
- Immediately report SLA failures, company-goal failures, or conflicts to the supervisor
- Perform work without established procedures when necessary
- Complete other tasks as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification Required
- At least one year of experience working in a call center environment or healthcare or IT
- Strong communications skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work effectively across departments
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, communication, and collaboration tools in various operating systems
- Ability to learn software and systems
- Excellent phone/customer service skills and high attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
- Ability to excel in a remote work setting, high-growth and fast-paced organization
- Ability to work the overnight schedule of 10:45 PM EST–7:00 AM EST, Friday–Tuesday
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
