About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive and prioritize emergency and routine consultations from partner facilities
- Remotely manage multi-channel coordination and assignment of consultations across multiple service lines
- Communicate with hospital clinical staff and Access TeleCare physicians to ensure timely, efficient patient care
- Perform CCC Coordinator duties and manage incoming consultations through CCC consultation lifecycle workflows
- Prioritize and assign emergency and non-emergency consultations using approved protocols, workflows, and computer-aided dispatch systems
- Test computer, camera, and related communications equipment readiness
- Monitor and maintain queues to prioritize and assign consultations in accordance with SLAs
- Meet or exceed performance metrics on the performance index scorecard
- Maintain professional relationships with healthcare facilities, physicians, coworkers, supervisors, and other departments
- Keep the immediate supervisor informed of issues and concerns and take corrective action when necessary
- Maintain positive team spirit and support company culture
- Perform other tasks as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification Required
- At least one year of experience working in a call center environment or healthcare or IT
- Strong communications skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work effectively across departments
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, communication, and collaboration tools in various operating systems
- Ability to learn software and systems
- Excellent phone/customer service skills and high attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
- Ability to excel in a remote work setting and high-growth, fast-paced organization
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Must be available for Tuesday-Saturday work schedule, weekends and holidays
- May be required to be on-call and respond to emergency situations at any time
