About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work strategically and tactically to deliver exceptional events that create WOW for clients
- Collaborate with teams across the company, especially Sales and Creative Teams
- Drive operational excellence across client service, venue management, production coordination, vendor management, transportation coordination, contract negotiation, and event staff management
- Provide operational solutions to clients and identify improvements and efficiencies
- Manage all vendors required for a program
- Own the Statement of Work, additional deposit requests, and final invoicing
- Manage assigned Event Staff during events and proactively prepare staff before events
- Upsell services that improve the client experience
- Own the budget and work toward gross profit goals
- Connect with hotel conference service managers and onsite staff to ensure seamless DMC-hotel partnerships
- Manage Salesforce data regarding ASOs and vendor information
- Work with procurement to confirm vendors are vetted and approved
- Ensure KPIs and Key Results are measured and met
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 – 5 years experience managing multiple clients and programs
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing events
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and team-oriented
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Residency within the local market (DC or Boston, MA area)
- Ability to travel for site visits, multi-day program execution, or to support other Access markets during peak demand
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
