About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform post-editing of AI-generated content.
- Occasionally provide human translation when required.
- Review and edit translated content for linguistic accuracy, fluency, consistency, and naturalness.
- Work on IT and software-related content according to project-specific guidelines and terminology.
- Collaborate with Acclaro on international localization projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Native-level Icelandic proficiency.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a linguist, translator, or MTPE specialist.
- Proven experience in IT/software localization.
- Excellent command of Icelandic grammar, style, and terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content.
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
- Familiarity with CAT tools and localization workflows is highly desirable.
