Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take day-to-day operational accountability for an assigned portfolio of accounts
  • Lead complex or high-priority localization projects and interconnected workstreams across software, marketing, multimedia and documentation content from scoping through closure
  • Own operational performance across assigned accounts, including SLAs, KPIs, quality, schedule, budget, productivity and client satisfaction
  • Identify adverse trends and implement corrective actions
  • Act as the senior day-to-day operational client contact and lead service and governance discussions where assigned
  • Maintain account plans, trackers, reporting, decisions, risks, issues and actions
  • Prepare operational inputs for business reviews and support Program Managers with governance and account planning
  • Own operational escalations, coordinate root-cause analysis and recovery plans, and escalate material issues appropriately
  • Identify and implement workflow, quality and productivity improvements
  • Standardize repeatable processes and promote automation, technology and self-service solutions
  • Plan and coordinate resources across projects and accounts, allocate work and manage dependencies
  • Lead operational implementation of new services, workflows and lower-complexity onboarding
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, prioritization and mentoring to Project Managers and Project Coordinators
  • Coordinate with Program Management, Account Management, Solutions, Technology, Engineering, Quality, Vendor Management, Finance, linguists and DTP teams
  • Scope and quote work, monitor revenue and gross-margin indicators, control delivery costs and support forecasting
  • Identify opportunities to improve or extend services and contribute delivery expertise to proposals, solution design and implementation planning
  • Ensure project and account documentation, purchase-order controls, invoicing inputs, system records and administrative workflows are complete and timely

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience managing localization projects in a language-service-provider or similarly complex global delivery environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience independently leading complex projects or account workstreams, including quality, financial and schedule accountability
  • Ability to manage day-to-day client relationships and communicate performance, risks, decisions and actions clearly and professionally
  • Ability to use data and sound judgement to prioritize, identify trends and make timely decisions within an agreed remit
  • Ability to manage operational escalations, coordinate root-cause analysis and drive recovery actions to closure
  • Understanding of localization financials, including scoping, quoting, budget control, revenue and gross-margin drivers
  • Ability to coordinate contributors and dependencies across global, cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority
  • Confidence mentoring Project Managers and Project Coordinators and reinforcing consistent ways of working
  • Ability to operate in a segment-based service model where Senior Project Manager and Program Manager involvement varies by account
  • Ability to balance accountability and initiative with appropriate escalation of strategic, commercial, contractual and material client matters
  • Experience leading operational delivery for enterprise, growth or multi-service client accounts
  • Experience leading service reviews, KPI reporting, QBR preparation, account health tracking or structured governance routines
  • Experience implementing new client workflows, service expansions or operational onboarding across multiple teams
  • Experience delivering measurable process, quality, productivity or margin improvements through standardisation or automation
  • Advanced experience with translation-management tools, localization platforms, reporting tools or technology-enabled delivery models
  • Recognized project-management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent
  • Fluency in one or more languages beyond English
  • Calm, structured judgement during ambiguity, rapid change or client escalation
