About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source hotels and collect market data for clients in key destinations
- Collect hotel names, addresses, contact information, and star ratings using internal databases and internet sources
- Manage RFP/RFI processes through API’s JET platform to secure and negotiate rates, concessions, and contract terms with hotel and ground transportation suppliers
- Research hotel options and track data in Salesforce
- Analyze market trends and conditions to secure favorable scenarios for airlines and hotel partners
- Create destination presentations using Microsoft products and Adobe programs, demonstrating savings and meeting revenue goals
- Schedule hotel site inspections domestically and internationally when required
- Manage crewmember feedback for assigned accounts and address complaints and compliments within airline-specific SLAs
- Perform additional duties according to business needs, including designated data protection or information assurance responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in English required
- Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus
- Strong problem solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under strict deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at managing processes
- Ability to positively present API in supplier-facing situations
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with and understand diverse cultures domestically and internationally
- Organized self-starter able to work proactively and independently
- No supervisory experience required; supervisory responsibility is none
