About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Humanities, History, Economics, Philosophy, Political Science, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field
  • Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching adult learners; online teaching experience preferred
  • Experience teaching one or more listed Humanities, History, or Economics courses
  • Strong eLearning or virtual classroom experience
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Moodle, Google Workspace, and other eLearning technologies
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, simplify complex concepts, and encourage active participation in a virtual classroom
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Functional computer
  • Noise-canceling headset
  • Professionalism, dependability, strong organization, and excellent time-management skills
  • Availability on weekdays and/or weekends
  • Availability for morning, afternoon, or evening classes
  • Completion of all application pre-screeners
