About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and manage strategic relationships supporting ACI’s core payment processing and card network operations
  • Manage relationships with card networks, processors, gateway providers, disbursement providers, and alternative payment providers
  • Ensure operational performance aligns with contractual and service-level requirements
  • Lead resolution of partner-related escalations by coordinating internal and external stakeholders
  • Negotiate complex agreements, renewals, and service-level commitments
  • Serve as subject-matter expert on card processing and operational, contractual, and technical relationship and integration matters
  • Coordinate responses to partner audit attestations, transaction volumes, and due diligence requests
  • Conduct strategic partner reviews and monitor performance, risk, and contractual compliance
  • Evaluate new partner products and capabilities for viability, alignment, readiness, and organizational value
  • Partner with Product Management and cross-functional teams to define business needs and integration requirements
  • Support effective implementation, operational efficiency, and risk reduction
  • Adhere to corporate policies, the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and Risk Management requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Deep knowledge of card processing, including the transaction lifecycle, processing economics, technology, participant responsibilities, and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated success negotiating complex contracts, renewals, and service-level agreements
  • Proven ability to manage complex partner relationships, hold stakeholders accountable for commitments, and drive timely escalation resolution
  • Strong business judgment and ability to apply regulatory, legal, contractual, and partner requirements to practical and hypothetical scenarios
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including identifying root causes, evaluating options, and executing actionable recommendations
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage competing priorities, maintain data integrity, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound business decisions
  • Collaborative, self-directed approach with interpersonal skills to build productive relationships
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Position does not offer employment visa or work permit sponsorship
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience (preferred)
  • 8–12 years of relevant professional experience (preferred)
