About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and data center networking environments
- Configure and support routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, VRFs, VLANs, QoS, ACLs, and network segmentation
- Support enterprise connectivity across corporate offices, cloud platforms, carrier networks, and data centers
- Monitor network health, availability, performance, and capacity using enterprise monitoring platforms and analytics tools
- Participate in network incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Support and maintain next-generation firewalls, remote access solutions, VPNs, web filtering, DDoS protection, and network access controls
- Implement and maintain security policies, firewall rules, access controls, and segmentation standards with Information Security teams
- Assist with PCI DSS, audit requests, vulnerability remediation, and security reviews
- Develop and maintain automation solutions for network provisioning, monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Leverage AI-assisted and network automation platforms for troubleshooting, validation testing, and routine operational tasks
- Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures
- Conduct failover, disaster recovery, and resiliency testing of network infrastructure
- Participate in technology refreshes, office moves, carrier migrations, network modernization, and infrastructure upgrades
- Evaluate vendor solutions, assist with budgeting and cost analysis, and support project planning and implementation
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical business operations
- Collaborate with global technology teams, business stakeholders, customers, vendors, and carriers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure
- Experience with routing and switching technologies
- Experience with network troubleshooting and packet analysis
- Experience with firewall administration and network security concepts
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless networking
- Experience with network performance monitoring and diagnostics
- Understanding of high-availability networking, redundancy, and disaster recovery concepts
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience with Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer is preferred
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN is preferred
- Experience with Arista switching and routing platforms, including EOS, CloudVision, VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, OSPF, MLAG, and data center fabric technologies is preferred
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Wireless platforms is preferred
- Experience with F5 GTM/LTM and VMware AVI load balancing technologies is preferred
- Experience with Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Azure networking is preferred
- Experience with SolarWinds, NetBrain, or similar monitoring platforms is preferred
- Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or Ansible is preferred
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, network security frameworks, and enterprise compliance requirements is preferred
- CCNA, Network+, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Palo Alto PCNSA, or similar industry certifications are preferred
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Position does not offer employment visa or work permit sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to work in data center and office environments
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to participate in after-hours maintenance activities and an on-call rotation
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required
