About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Validate software products through requirements validation and systematic test design
Develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products
Develop and execute software test plans, test standards, procedures, and automated test cases
Maintain test documentation, analyze results, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions
Execute and provide feedback on performance, load, and stress testing
Review and validate requirements for completeness, test coverage, gaps, risks, and traceability
Develop and execute detailed test scripts to validate system functionality
Create comprehensive test plans, schedules, resource requirements, test environments, and test data
Prepare and manage complex test environments and test data conditions
Manage validation testing, defect logging and tracking, tester coordination, and regression testing
Analyze defects before assigning them to Development teams
Support conversion of manual test cases into automated tests
Liaise between customers and Development teams during Acceptance Testing
Collaborate with Development Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues
Develop, execute, and analyze scripts for application and platform quality metrics
Provide sizing support to Sales for prospective customers requesting ACI products
Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Product Management, Sales, Support, customers, and vendors
Adhere to corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in software testing
3+ years of Quality Engineering and/or systems testing experience
Experience in test automation and/or software development
Understanding and experience with platform and operating system architecture
Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Understanding of defect analysis, regression testing, and end-to-end solution testing
Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Product Management, customers, and other cross-functional stakeholders
Experience working with Test Management and Defect Management tools
Relevant software quality/testing certification preferred
Experience with automated testing frameworks is preferred
Standard work environment
Majority of time spent using a PC
Domestic and/or international travel may be required
